BIO

Boston's Miracle Blood has been building their reputation as one of the most original and hard working bands in the East Coast DIY scene. After self-releasing their first album, 'Melter,' completing 2 eastern US tours, and being nominated for a Boston Music Award all within a year, Boston's Miracle Blood is poised to continue turning heads this coming year with their much anticipated 2nd full-length, "Hello Hell," to be released on Nefarious Industries November 15th.  The album shows off the band's one of a kind, genre-bucking take on noise-punk: dissonant, heavy and chaotic, yet melodic, catchy and playful all at the same time, but in a way that is meaner, heavier and noisier than their 2022 debut 'Melter.'  Started in 2014 with the goal of creating something that was live-performance based, loud, energetic and unique, the band has since carved out a reputation for their electrifying live performances, charismatic songwriting and what has been called ʻthe best scream in the cityʼ of Boston. The band has been featured in Decibel Magazine, Idioteq.com, No Clean Singing and NoEcho.net. They have shared the stage with Thy Will Be Done, Tree, Great Falls, Landowner and Boozewa, bringing their brand of "gnarly noise-punk for the weird at heart," to the masses.

PRESS

"Boston punks Miracle Blood have garnered a reputation over the last decade for their electric live performances and it’s easy to hear why on their new single, 'Phenomenon.'"

- Decibel Magazine

“Theyʼre like a prog rock band gone insane, a punk band who forgot to read the rules, an alternative rock band that didnʼt allow itself to be wedged passively between hard rock and punk.”

- Thrash and Bang

“Their music is rife with manic energy, humor and sarcasm all while retaining a heaviness, blendingaspects of the Jesus Lizard, McLusky and Converge.”

- Idioteq.com

'Hello Hell' - Unreleased - Cover Art by Andrew Wong

'Hello Hell' takes everything that Miracle Blood did on their first album, 'Melter' and ups the intensity tenfold. Leaning into their backgrounds in punk, hardcore and metal, the band brings a new heaviness and ferocity to the weird, but catchy dissonance they established on 'Melter.'  A play on 'lol,' "Hello Hell,' tears into the 'hell' that is modern living with a unique sense of humor, honesty and self-awareness.  Produced and recorded at The Bridge Sound and Stage in Cambridge, MA by Alex Allinson (BEDTIMEMAGIC, The Freqs, Lesotho) and mastered by Brad Boatright (The Armed, Sleep, NAILS) at Audiosiege in Portland, OR, the sound on the record is big, noisy and in-your-face.
