BIO

'Hello Hell,' the second album from Boston heavy, noise-punks, Miracle Blood, has already been called "career defining," "top-notch," and "endlessly replayable" since it's release on Nefarious Industries on November 15, 2024. The record delivers 10 ripping tracks in 31 minutes, showing off the band's one of a kind, genre-bucking take on noise-punk: dissonant, heavy and chaotic, yet melodic, catchy and playful all at the same time. Since 2022, Miracle Blood have been building their reputation as one of the most original and hard working bands in the East Coast DIY scene. Since then, the band has self-released their debut album, completed two eastern US tours, and been nominated for two Boston Music Awards. Now, Miracle Blood has released their second full-length with acclaim from both critics and fans.

Started in 2014 with the goal of creating something that was live-performance based, loud, energetic and unique, the band has since carved out a reputation for their electrifying live performances, charismatic songwriting and what has been called ʻthe best scream in the cityʼ of Boston. The band has been featured in Decibel Magazine, Idioteq.com, No Clean Singing and NoEcho.net. They have shared the stage with Thy Will Be Done, Tree, Great Falls, Landowner, and Boozewa bringing their brand of "gnarly noise-punk for the weird at heart" to the masses.

PRESS

"Boston punks Miracle Blood have garnered a reputation over the last decade for their electric live performances and it’s easy to hear why on their new single, 'Phenomenon.'"

- Decibel Magazine

“Theyʼre like a prog rock band gone insane, a punk band who forgot to read the rules, an alternative rock band that didnʼt allow itself to be wedged passively between hard rock and punk.”

- Thrash and Bang

“Every damn song hits on a rare level and you just feel invigorated from them. This is top notch noisy punk that’s endlessly replayable and something fans of heavier music need to try out.”

- Everything is Noise

“Their music is rife with manic energy, humor and sarcasm all while retaining a heaviness, blendingaspects of the Jesus Lizard, McLusky and Converge.”

'Hello Hell' - November 2024 - Cover Art by Andrew Wong

'Hello Hell' takes everything that Miracle Blood did on their first album, 'Melter' and ups the intensity tenfold. Leaning into their backgrounds in punk, hardcore and metal, the band brings a new heaviness and ferocity to the weird, but catchy dissonance they established on 'Melter.'  A play on 'lol,' "Hello Hell,' tears into the 'hell' that is modern living with a unique sense of humor, honesty and self-awareness.  Produced and recorded at The Bridge Sound and Stage in Cambridge, MA by Alex Allinson (BEDTIMEMAGIC, The Freqs, Lesotho) and mastered by Brad Boatright (The Armed, Sleep, NAILS) at Audiosiege in Portland, OR, the sound on the record is big, noisy and in-your-face.
